Allen Price

Clients First, People Always.

Leading has nothing to do with managing people. Leadership is inspiring growth and unleashing talent.

Section 01 — About

Win-Win Outcomes

Leader with over 20 years of experience that began in front-line operations and has led to various executive-level roles. The front-line foundation taught me clients are the mission, impactful ideas often come from those on the front lines, and people can manage themselves.

Accomplished human capital and senior leader with strong operations capability and extensive history in partnering with executives, delivery operations, and clients to deliver results. Expert in creating win-win situations through high-performance, high-engagement culture to drive business results, developing value-add programs, and improving quality of services. Adept with coaching and leading individuals at all levels, teams, and departments to achieve business and individual objectives.

Employees are not the obstacle we have to overcome when driving change or driving results. They are the mechanism by which an organization achieves those things.
Section 02 — Experience

Agile and Servant Leadership

Extensive experience working horizontally across departments and business units, and vertically from delivery to corporate executives.

Experience with client relations and solutioning began in my first position at 20 years old and immediately taught me, sometimes the hard way, how to work with a diverse set of people and diverse set of expectations. These experiences taught me what works and what doesn't — and that engaging the delivery workforce to be part of the direction of an organization is critical.

01

Executive Leadership

Promoted early in career to senior management to lead several departments, learning firsthand the many challenges businesses and clients face while being mentored by a team of C-suite executives. Working in and leading multiple functional areas and across multiple levels of the company built the ability to effectively lead across entire organizations.

02

Operations

Adaptable chief operating executive with in-depth experience across most corporate and business unit functions. Led HR and Operations for a firm with over 1,800 employees providing IT services to Fortune 500 companies. Current COO-type role spans Business Development, Human Resources, IT, Contracts, and Marketing, plus program executive responsibility for a U.S. Army medical training contract.

03

Client Relationships

Six months into my first professional position, I was charged with working directly with the firm's largest client — a multi-billion dollar IT firm — analyzing IT operational and workforce issues. That trust led to leading over 30 IT workforce merger/transitions over four years, built on a high-trust, highly transparent relationship that consistently delivered results.

04

Human Resources

Having begun my career in Human Resources, finding ways to help people succeed was one of the first lessons I learned and continue to apply. Success means the HR function stays focused on the business purpose — client needs as much as front-line delivery — because client success drives organizational success and opportunity for employees.

Practice reasonable impatience. Never be complacent and completely satisfied. Always seek to make incremental progress.
Section 03 — Performance

Results Matter

An impactful executive leader due to over 20 years of firsthand experience making contributions across various organizations, 1999–2021.

It is important to not confuse activity with results. Expert in understanding how to achieve desired outcomes through the combined strengths of the people responsible for them. A servant-leader mindset ensures people have the resources, independence, and accountability they need to confront business and client challenges.

Deep and wide skills built on true firsthand work: leadership, coaching, operations, client relations, business development, profit & loss, finance, IT, human resources, facilities, contracts, marketing.

Section 04 — Clients

Clients Are the Mission

Whether clients are external or internal, a mission focused on the client orients everyone around a common purpose — and requires leaders and organizations to prioritize the people who have the ability to positively impact those clients.

My focus has always been to ensure people have what they need to succeed, are challenged with accountability, and are empowered to work interdependently. I've worked with private-sector firms of all sizes, federal government agencies, and the Department of Defense.
